2012 Trial doesn't start
Hi, my Electric Mobile Studio 2012 Trial doesn't startup. There is message coming "Unable to communicate with server". I guess this is because of our company proxy server. If this is the case how can I set proxy settings?

It must be blocking access to our server. Is it possible to try w/o the
proxy enabled? Beyond that there isn't much we can do. One suggestion
would be to try it at home, and then if you like it, purchase the full
version. The full version does not communicate with our server at launch
time (the communication is to track the trial period expiration time).
Sorry for the trouble.

Sorry, I guess it just can't past certain locked down corporate networks.
The only thing I can suggest is trying it in a non locked down environment,
maybe your home computer.

So it is too hard for the application to use the proxy settings as defined in Interner Explorer?

I'm on a home network and also can't connect. I have no proxy's set as far as I know.
And I won't buy if I can not test.

Even if you'd test it in your home environment, to activate it also needs to communicate through a proxy - which it can't.
So essentially, if you're behind a proxy, you cannot use this product.

I'm having the same problem.
It's a bummer, because we really like the product but I can't demo it to my managers in order to purchase licenses.

Jean-Paul
Activation does not need to communicate via the proxy. In fact the product can even be activated on a computer with no Internet connection (choose "Manual Activation").
Our best suggestion is to test out the trial on a computer w/out the proxy issue, and then purchase activate on any machine. After activation, the product does not make any connections to our server.
Hope that helps!
